Why did I start a clothing brand?
From a very young age, I have had a great love for clothes and have dreamt that one day when I am older I would become a fashion designer. My dad bought me a small sewing machine for me that could actually sew clothing. Now, the only problem was my drawing ability and skills to put these designs on paper, but I had the vision of the clothes in my mind. As time went by, I became discouraged of this passion and focused on other things. God spoke to me that it was time now to actually follow my dream and overcome the one and only obstacle that was standing in my way! I am at a point currently now in my life that I want to achieve all my dreams, I have established my book “Rise Ntombam because you can!”; Ntombam Sanitary; Ntombam Development Projects and now it was time for Designs by Ntombam! #Kuyaqaleleka #Hambangalamandlaunawo!
Why I chose to collaborate with Eastern Cape designers?
This collaboration was an opportunity for me to overcome the obstacle of drawing down these designs and making them come to life. I chose to use Eastern Cape designers to showcase not only my designs but also their abilities and skills, as they are very talented and not getting the platform to shine bright like the stars they are.
Why I created a “Pop-Up Concept”?
I chose a “Pop-Up Concept” so that there is a hype, new designs and items that will be introduced every time we have the Pop-Up. Fashion is ongoing, versatile and forever changing; so we will be keeping up with our style choice and also what is eye-catching while satisfying our client needs as well while using the best quality material and fabrics.
